Meet Arturo Fernandez, the newest member of the team.
Los Naranjos Padel Club, the ambitious new padel club in Marbella, is proud to present Arturo Fernández as its new Operations Manager. With an outstanding track record in the management of padel clubs and academies both in Spain and abroad, Arturo is ready to lead this project to become a reference not only in Andalucía, but throughout Europe.
Who is Arturo Fernández?
Arturo Fernández, trained in Business Administration and Management, and Padel Coach certified by the Madrid Padel Federation in 2011, has 18 years of experience in the world of padel. Since he began his professional career 13 years ago, he has demonstrated his ability both on the court and in club management.
His career includes the management of academies in Madrid and other countries. In Spain he has worked in prestigious clubs such as Padel Soto Torrejón (where he grew as a player and coach), Club R.A.C.E. in Madrid, and Racquet Club Villa Padierna on the Costa del Sol.
What plans does Arturo have to lead this project?
Arturo arrives at Los Naranjos Padel Club with a clear idea: to turn this club into a European reference in padel. ‘We will take the necessary time and we are aware of the effort it will require, but with the facilities and the equipment available, I have no doubt that we will achieve it,’ he says. Initially, his goal is to put the club’s existence on the map, a process that should allow players to not only come to play, but also to have a sense of belonging at the club. In a second phase, he aspires to organise the best national and international tournaments, to have the best academy in Spain and to attract players from all over the world, in other words, he wants the ‘Los Naranjos’ brand to be a benchmark for padel and excellence worldwide.
Innovation is one of the pillars of his work plan. Arturo stresses that the club’s facilities are designed with the best materials on the market. In addition, he seeks to offer a luxury experience for members and players, combining excellence in service with the proximity of a padel club, something that is already characteristic of Los Naranjos Golf Club and that will undoubtedly be replicated in the padel club.
What working methodologies does Arturo want to achieve in his team and in the club?
Arturo describes himself as a leader who relies on teamwork and open communication. For him, it is essential to know each member of his team, to understand what motivates them and how they can contribute to the club’s success. His management philosophy is centred on three fundamental pillars: service excellence, building a strong community, and constant innovation. These values will be the foundation on which the culture of Los Naranjos Padel Club will be built.
A Deep Connection to Padel
Arturo’s passion for padel began in 2006, when he started playing recreationally. Over the years, he has competed in tournaments and has developed a deep connection with the sport. Being part of such an ambitious project as Los Naranjos Padel Club is, according to him, the most important and exciting challenge of his career. ‘I am eager to show that padel can go a step further and become more professional,’ says Arturo, who sees this project as an opportunity to raise padel management to the level of other prestigious sports, such as golf.
‘I want to show that padel can go one step further and become more professional’.
